This week is important. It’s Cervical Screening Awareness Week 2023 (19th – 24th June 2023).
We’re supporting Jo’s Cervical Cancer Trust because we want you to have all the facts about this potentially life-saving test. Did you know almost one in three women and people with a cervix don’t take up their invite? We want to change that, and you can help! In addition our very own practice nurses will be holding an AFTERNOON drop in clinic at Longshoot Health Centre on WEDNESDAY 28 JUNE 2023 1pm to 5.15pm for our patients who are due/overdue their smear, no appointment necessary – (patients who are due their smear will be receiving a text invite from us nearer the date or will already be in receipt of their national screening letter inviting them to book an appointment for their smear).
