With this in mind, we are delighted to welcome Mike Mills, primary care liaison officer, from the Armed Forces Centre in Wigan who will be joining us throughout the morning at Longshoot H.C on Wednesday 8 November 2023. Mike will be on hand to offer further advice and support as well as being able to provide further details on Wigan’s https://armedforceshq.org.uk/ . We invite serving personnel, veterans and their families to come down to the surgery on the 8 November to have a chat with him.
If you have served in the armed forces even for a day you are classed as a military veteran. It is important that we hold this information on your medical records to ensure you receive the right care at the right time and by the right person, it can also help aid diagnosis. If you haven’t done so already please let the receptionist or clinician know so that we can update your medical records.
