NHS England are writing to all patients in group 5 (over the age of 65) to invite them to book an appointment at a local national clinic or pharmacy.
We have been asked to focus as a GP practice on inviting those in group 6 to our clinic at Robin Park.
WHAT THIS MEANS:
Cohort 5: those aged 65-69:
This means that if you are aged 65-69 and you haven’t already got an appointment at one of our clinics, you will get a letter inviting you to book an appointment at one of the local nationally run clinics.
If you are housebound, or you aren’t able to get to one of the local nationally run clinics, please don’t worry. Just contact us and we will put you on the list for a vaccine at our clinic.
Cohort 6: those aged 16-64 who are at greater risk
If you are aged 16-64 with an underlying health condition that puts you at greater risk, or the carer of someone who is at greater risk, you will be contacted by us to invite you for your vaccine when we have one for you. Please don’t worry if you don’t get a call straight away as there are lots of people in your cohort and it will take us some weeks to vaccinate everyone.
